The launch, and the founder's 70th birthday
One day to mark Yeye (Mrs.) Titilayo Alogba turning 70, and the day the Foundation's help begins.
On Thursday, 5 November 2026 our founder, Yeye (Mrs.) Titilayo Alogba, turns 70. The first thing in her heart is thanksgiving.
The day is also the launch of the Foundation, and the day the help begins. Twenty women have been chosen to be helped at the launch, the first of many. Each one was put forward by people who know her, and each will be helped with what her own trade needs. Some of them will meet each other for the first time.
Àánú ni mo rí gbà, it is mercy I have received. That line runs under everything the founder does. She had a little, and she chose to share it.
The launch is not the only day of giving. Women are found and helped all through the year, for as long as there are funds. Each 5 November we will gather again, to give thanks and to show what the giving has done.
